Riders of Kawasaki’s 150cc-class supermoto models will welcome the lightweight, and lighter-handling alternative to the 250cc D-TRACKER X when they are ready to step up to a larger-displacement bike. With its fuel-injected 233 cm3 air-cooled, 4-stroke Single engine mounted in a compact perimeter frame, the KLX230SM offers a powerful, light, manoeuvrable package for tackling the urban jungle. Models with ABS offer an added degree of rider reassurance. In some Asian markets, Special Edition models with enhanced equipment are also available.
On the KLX230SM, 17” front and rear wheels contribute to agile handling. Tyres are as follows:
