Rule the Streets

Z250

In the hustle and bustle of the city, just getting to next light can seem like all-out war. Vying for position, being the first through that hole between the four-wheeled cages, leaving rivals behind… Surviving in the combative city arena requires power, agility and the confidence that comes from total control. To stand out among the urban gladiators, Kawasaki offers the first 250cc street-fighter: the Z250. Where supersport models were designed to rule on the circuit, street-fighters are urban assault vehicles. The Z250 combines Ninja-based performance, bodywork paired down to aggressive essentials, and a rider interface designed to maximise rider control while deftly navigating through city traffic: the ideal package for both getting noticed and thriving in the concrete jungle. Let the repli-racer boys have their trackdays – when it comes to urban domination, the streets belong to Z.

Z IS CLASS

Not to be confused with the commuters of the masses, the Z250 possesses a level of fit and finish that sets it apart from standard naked models. Seamlessly integrated bodywork, gorgeous high-quality paint and a high attention to detail ensure the Z250 is equally impressive up close as it is from afar. The Z300 retains the nimble handling character of the Ninja 300, but a more upright riding position and wider handlebar put the rider in the ideal position for active control, facilitating dynamic, sporty riding. Backed by Ninja-based engine and chassis performance, the skilled Z300 rider will dominate the urban jungle.

PERFORMANCE

Nothing earns street cred like performance. With the same dominant Parallel Twin engine and circuit-developed chassis as the new Ninja 250, the Z250 offers a proven performance package. One twist of the throttle will clearly distinguish the Z250 from lesser naked models, putting pretenders firmly in your rear-view.

NEW RADIATOR FAN COVER

A cover for the radiator fan directs engine heat away from the rider, contributing to rider comfort. With the new design (patent pending), hot air is now mostly routed out to the sides (through holes in the fairing).

FLARED FUEL TANK

Adding to the bike’s dynamic design, the fuel tank is flared at the top edges and slants forward. The flared design enables a large 17-litre fuel capacity and contributes to the superb ergonomic fit between rider and machine.

STREET-FIGHTER COCKPIT

The Z250’s sporty instrument package combines a large, analogue-style tachometer with a multi-function LCD screen. Its numerous features include a clock, fuel gauge and dual trip meters. Amber LED backlighting contributes to the street-fighter image and ensures clear meter visibility at night.
