The Ninja 300’s predecessor is well known for its high-performance chassis. The new chassis makes a number ofimprovements to match the new, more powerful engine. A new diamond frame with revised rigidity balance has redesigned main tubes and now uses high-tensile steel sections for increased longitudinal rigidity. To reduce engine vibration the engine is partially rubber mounted. A wider rear tyre adds to handling stability. And revised suspension settings complement the stiffer frame. The result is superb handling characteristics and excellentride quality.
Like the other Ninjas in the series, the new Ninja 300 features a “mass-forward, minimalist-tail” design concept. Aggressive new dual headlamps, windscreen, wheels and numerous other styling elements inspired by Ninja flagship models give it a serious super sport look.
Sporty new instrument panel design contributes to the advanced-technology and high-quality image of the Ninja series. Multi-function LCD screen functions include: speedometer, clock, fuel gauge, dual trip meters, odometer and ECO Economical Riding indicator. White LED backlighting ensures clear meter visibility at night.
- Radial Tyres, Wider Rear Tyre
Already offering nimble handing, with their new tyres, the Special Edition Limited models deliver increased high-speed cornering performance, and offer even racier looks.
- World Superbike Colouring
Colour and graphics of the SE Ltd models are based on Kawasaki’s 2016 Superbike World Championship factory bike livery, contributing to an even stronger race image.
- Revised Instrumentation
New instrumentation (also featured on standard models for 2016) offers a fresh design and increases night-time legibility.
SE Ltd models also feature a number of accessory items as standard equipment.
- Frame sliders are a popular accessory item added by owners of the standard models. This protective feature is standard equipment on the SE Ltd models.
- Single seat cover enhances the bike’s racy looks. Provided in addition to the standard passenger seat, it offers owners a choice between a touring-focused (with passenger or luggage) or ride-focused (sleek, racy styling) look.
- Tall windscreen offers greater wind protection for more comfortable touring. The smoked screen adds to the bike’s sporty looks.
